Viewing Content
With MediaFire for Android, you may view almost any file type on your device, including documents, pictures, music, and videos. To view your content, simply locate the file or media you would like to view and select it by tapping it once. Each media type has different settings which this article will discuss in detail.
Viewing Pictures on MediaFire for Android
To view a picture in your account, select the picture by tapping it once. Your image will be displayed.
Swiping your screen forward will advance to the next image in your folder. Alternatively, swiping the screen backwards will revert to the previous image in your folder. You can also zoom in on the image using the pinch to zoom gesture (see illustration below).

Viewing Videos on MediaFire for Android
To view a video in your account, select the video by tapping it once. Your video will be displayed. Note: For devices with older software (below 3.0, i.e. Gingerbread) video applications are not bundled with Android. You must install a 3rd party video software for video playback to function.
While viewing videos, basic video management settings are available, such as pause, play, skip to end, and go back to the beginning. Select the back button on your Android device to exit video playback mode.
Viewing Music on MediaFire for Android
To play music in your account, select the music file by tapping it once. Your song will begin playing. While your music is playing, basic music management settings are available, such as pause, play, skip to end, and go back to the beginning. Select the back button on your Android device to exit music listening mode.
Viewing Documents on MediaFire for Android
To view a document on your account, select the file by tapping it once. A File Interaction box will be displayed asking if you would like to view, download, or cancel.
Select View to view the file on the MediaFire site. If you have multiple internet browser applications installed on your device, a box will prompt you to select the application you would prefer to use.
Alternatively, selecting Download will allow you to download the document to your device. If your Android Device has an document viewer compatible with the document, the Download option will activate the appropriate application allowing you to open the document on your device without logging onto MediaFire. An example of this instance is if you are opening a .pdf file and you have Adobe Reader installed on your device. This will prompt your device to ask if you want to open your document via Adobe.
Selecting Adobe Reader allowed the file to be downloaded and also opened.
